Today we explore Badami, Aihole, and Pattadakal — UNESCO World Heritage Sites known for
their ancient Hindu and Dravidian temples. Visit the Badami Caves, a Hindu and Jain rock-cut
temple complex. The temples are carved from soft sandstone and are famous for their beautiful
stone carvings. Later proceed to Aihole to explore its ancient temple remains. This peaceful village
on the banks of the Malaprabha River is known as the “Cradle of Hindu and Dravidian Temple
Architecture.” Later travel to Pattadakal to see its impressive group of ancient temples, including
the famous Virupaksha Temple, built by Queen Lokamahadevi to celebrate her husband’s victory.

Today explore Hampi, the former capital of the Vijayanagar Kingdom and a UNESCO World
Heritage Site, renowned for its grand temples, monolithic sculptures, and magnificent ruins. Visit
the Virupaksha Temple, one of Hampi's oldest functioning temples dedicated to Lord Shiva; the
Lakshmi Narasimha Statue, a majestic monolithic sculpture of Lord Narasimha; the Krishna
Temple, known for its impressive Vijayanagara architecture; the Vijaya Vittala Temple, famous for
its iconic Stone Chariot and musical pillars; the elegant Lotus Mahal; the Royal Palace remains;
the beautifully designed Pushkarni (Stepped Tank); and the historic Elephant Stables, once used to
house the royal elephants. Return to Hosapete in the evening.

Today proceed to Hubballi. En route, explore Anegundi Village, earlier known as Kishkindha,
located on the banks of the Tungabhadra River and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of
Hampi. Visit Anjanadri Hill, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. The hill is home to the
Anjanadri Temple and offers beautiful views of the Tungabhadra River, the surrounding Hampi
landscape, and its unique rock formations. Later, enjoy a traditional coracle ride on the
Tungabhadra River (subject to operation) and admire the scenic river and surrounding hills. Arrive
in Hubballi in the evening.

Today proceed to Gokarna. En route, visit Sahastra Lingam on the Shalmala River, famous for
thousands of Shiva Lingas carved on the rocks. Continue to Jog Falls, a magnificent segmented
waterfall on the Sharavati River, where the river cascades in four distinct streams - Raja, Rani,
Roarer, and Rocket - making it one of the highest plunge waterfalls in India. Arrive in Gokarna in
the evening, a peaceful coastal pilgrimage town.

Today, visit the Mahabaleshwar Temple in Gokarna, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is famous
for its 6-foot-tall Atmalinga, believed to be in the form of a Rudraksha. Later, proceed to
Murudeshwar. On arrival, visit the Murudeshwar Shiva Temple, home to the world's second-largest
Shiva statue. We also visit the Bhukailasa Cave Museum, featuring beautiful cave sculptures that
show the story of the Atmalinga. Later, take the lift to the 18th floor of the Raja Gopura for a bird'seye view of the Lord Shiva statue, the Arabian Sea, and the surrounding area. In the evening,
enjoy free time at Murudeshwar Beach.

Today proceed to Sringeri. On arrival, visit the Sri Vidyashankara Temple, a unique stone temple
showcasing a blend of Hoysala (Chalukya) and Dravidian architecture. The temple is renowned for
its twelve intricately carved pillars, each representing one of the twelve zodiac signs. Later,
proceed to Udupi and visit the famous Sri Krishna Temple, renowned for its unique Kanakana
Kindi, a window through which devotees have darshan of Lord Krishna.
